WasteServ through its Contractor - OZO Services is seeking to recruit a Supervisor - Recycling Plant (MRF).  

Position: Supervisor - Material Recovery Facility (MRF)    

General Overview of Responsibilities  

• Works under the direct supervision of the Head of Shift and shall supervise Personnel under the supervisor’s responsibilities; 
• Responsible for the daily production of end products in the specified quantity and quality of the mixed recyclables, and for achieving optimal utilization of plant and machinery; 
• Conduct start-up and close-down procedures before and after the shift; 
• Train, coach, and motivate crew personnel. Other responsibilities include: inspecting the load-out of materials, ensuring that all work stations are manned and maintained in a clean and orderly manner, verifying that all employees are furnished with appropriate safety apparel and equipment, ensuring that the plant is cleaned thoroughly at the end of operations, supervise personnel during all aspects of operations (example: sorting, loading of material, pre-filtering, baling etc.)  and compiling all reports associated with administration;  
• Substitute subordinates when required; 
• Willing to receive training on mobile equipment; 
• Attend all obligatory training as required by the company to be able to fulfil the role whilst obtaining the relevant knowledge, skills and techniques; 
• Perform other related duties as instructed by the Head of Shift or Plant Engineer.
