WasteServ, through its contractor OZO Services, is seeking a talented and motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing IT equipment, telecommunication systems, security, and access control equipment across all WasteServ sites;
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage and support the rollout of new IT applications and equipment, together with performing monitoring and management of IT servers, services, and software;
Prepare documentation, reports, and procedures to optimize IT Department activities and ensure smooth operational workflows;
Utilize extensive knowledge of Windows-based operating systems, Virtualization, Microsoft Suite, Windows Servers, and Microsoft Services to manage and maintain IT Systems, while conducting market research and exploring exploits that could impact company infrastructure;
Attend mandatory training sessions to acquire necessary knowledge, skills, and techniques, ensuring compliance with company standards and technological advancements;
Perform any other IT-related duties which may be assigned from time to time.

About You

The ideal candidate should have:

MQF Level 6 in IT or any same MQF level-related certificates;
Previous experience as an IT/Systems Administrator or in a similar role;
Ability to read & interpret drawings & diagrams;
Ability to work in a fast-paced multitask environment, efficiently alone and in a team;
Ability to distinguish different colours, read small prints and hear audible sounds;
Self-motivation with a positive approach;
Ability to install, configure and maintain backup and server infrastructure;
Experience in virtualization and maintaining the company virtualization solution;
Proficiency in understanding, speaking, and writing in English;
A valid & clean driving Licence (A copy must be presented with the application) to drive the Company Van.
