Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising and carrying out the necessary preventive maintenance on all WSM vehicles and equipment as instructed by the Fleet Engineer/s and/or designate.;
- Coordinating and instructing sub-ordinates on their day to day tasks;
- Performing vehicle and mobile equipment repairs as instructed by Fleet Engineer/s and/or designate;
- Performing fault finding and diagnostics to solve any issues and use the diagnostic computer;
- Ensuring that the completed works performed within the fleet department meet all health and safety standards;
- Ensuring and maintaining a clean workspace and workshop, whilst organizing any moving parts and tools.

About You
The ideal candidate should:
- Be in possession of an MQF Level 5 qualification with at least 3 years’ experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs
OR an MQF Level 4 qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs OR a minimum of 10 years' experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs;
- Have experience working with heavy vehicles (e.g., hook loader trucks, tractor-trucks, light trucks) and mobile equipment (e.g., wheel shovels, fork-lifters, telehandlers, skid-steer loaders, material handlers);
- Be able to use a computer and diagnostic tools;
- Be proficient in English and Maltese, both verbally and written;
- Have strong leadership skills;
- Have good communication skills and willing to work collaboratively within a team;
- A Category C driving licence and welding skills and certifications will be considered assets.
