Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise and perform preventive maintenance on all WSM vehicles and equipment as directed by the Fleet Engineer(s) or their designate.
- Coordinate and guide subordinates in their daily tasks to ensure efficiency and compliance with instructions.
- Carry out repairs on vehicles and mobile equipment as instructed by the Fleet Engineer(s) or their designate.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostics, utilising diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work within the fleet department complies with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, and share this information with the Fleet Engineer(s) or their designate.

About You
The ideal candidate should have:
- An MQF Level 5 qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs
OR an MQF Level 4 qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Have experience working with heavy vehicles (e.g., hook loader trucks, tractor-trucks, light trucks) and mobile equipment (e.g., wheel shovels, fork-lifters, telehandlers, skid-steer loaders, material handlers)
- Be proficient in using computers and diagnostic tools
- Demonstrate fluency in both English and Maltese, verbally and in writing
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills
- Be willing to work collaboratively within a team environment
- A Category C driving licence and welding skills or certifications will be considered advantageous.
