Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Must work on an independent basis and within the team as according to the task delegated by the Senior technical officer or the line manager;
- Responsible for any tools and equipment entrusted, thus making sure these are maintained in correct working condition, performing any upkeep necessary and making sure that consumables are stocked and available adequately;
- Be able to carry a minimum of 25kg weight easily, physically capable for climbing ladders, prolonged periods of standing, kneeling and bending, together with other associated physical activities that the job will entail from time to time and being deemed fit for work by a professional physician;
- Be confident in working at heights, in enclosed spaces and in the waste management environment whilst adhering to all health and safety procedures and precautions;
- Maintain a clean workspace, organizing moving parts and tools within the workshop and on site;
- Ensure a high quality/standard and ethic of work according to health and safety regulations.

About You
The ideal candidate should have:
- An MCAST/BTEC Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent at MQF Level 3 Qualification or better with a minimum 5 years’ related work experience;
- OR an MQF Level 4 MCAST Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years’ related work experience;
- OR at least 8 years related work experience.
