Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Being in charge of opening and closing the educational centre by preparing the facility for visitors, students and teachers, and ensure a highly professional and properly maintained facility;
- Providing support and guidance for groups of people with a disability and/or older adults visiting the facility;
- Directing the flow of visitors to optimise exhibition floor usage and prevent bottle necks;
- Performing activities, events and outreach including operating the theatre, storytelling, tours, talks, and hands-on workshops;
- Animating the stories by wearing costumes to engage visitors at the facility and at off-site community related events throughout the year;
- Ensuring the Health & Safety of staff, students and visitors at the centre and report to the designated person.

About You
The ideal candidate should be:
- In possession of an MQF Level 3 (5 O'Levels).
Moreover, the selected candidate must be:
- Competent in Microsoft office tools and IT computer functions, including the ability to use specific IT equipment such as tablets, TVs, microphone, and sound system (simple test will be carried out during the interview);
- Competent using the CMS platform of the education centre;
- Able to provide excellent service to visitors of all ages and engage with them in a way that supports effective learning environment;
- Able to interact with small children;
- Experienced in customer care sector or hospitality or similar environment will be considered an asset;
- Fluent in both Maltese and English language;
- Previous experience in Child Care, Animation, Public Speaking, Theatre, or Performance is preferred;
- Be proactive, able to work with minimal supervision and have coordination and teamwork skills;
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work hard;
- Applicants must be super energetic, outgoing, and friendly;
- Must be willing to work in a costume and stand for long periods of time (sometimes warmer than usual temperatures);
- Have own transportation;
- Have a Valid & Clean Police Conduct (a Copy of must be presented with the application).
